I LOVE your banner! It’s perfect for both the blog topic and purpose. I don’t know how to help get the wording lined up (as asked in class) but I like the images you’re posting…
The family web site was started in late 90’s when I was just trying to learn how to build a web page.
It is fun to create a family album web site and collecting images and stories. The same can be done with a blog as with WordPress there are a lot of tools to create and tweek a site.
Thanks, I actually have the thumbnail size on my other genealogy site, just haven’t learned to implement that here yet. With my internet down more than up, it may take a bit;O/ Great site you have, thanks for sharing.
I created the header from family photos of my ancestor Grays, thanks. It was done in PSP9, my fav.
Barb thanks for your comments. For some reason I didn’t see it until long time after it posted…too weird, but perhaps it’s that early morning without my coffee syndrome working;O)
I’m so glad you have this blog going! I’m so tickled to see all about our ancestors. You at least are deligent to keep our family history going. Thanks my sis.

Sandy thanks I’ve got a long way to go, and of course now have to redo a bit since the categories finally “clicked” for me;O) Super to have you in class and look forward to running in to you out “there”

Really like your collage heading. Great job
Did you create the collage heading?
What application did you use?
Your images are huge.
If you like, have a look at my family web site to see how I managed large images by first displaying the thumbnail sizes.

Click on Coat of Arms and you will see another page used to show larger image, but there are other ways to do that.

illustrates another technique which is simply based on html script without creating a separate page.
