John Gray is my 4th great-grandfather. His daughter Unity Kate is my 3rd great-grandmother. Have been tracking Unity’s son with her husband Elijah Drew – John Thomas Drew (named after his grandfather). Don’t know which line you are trying to follow but if you come up with any info on John/Lavina would be interested to know what you find out.

Hi, My name is John J. Gray and I saw this site and hoped that I could find out some info about my ancestors. My grandparents name was spelled Grey, John R. Grey and somehow my dad Samuel Gray and all others after him have the Gray spelling. As far as I know, we are from South Carolina.
